Senior Commercial Lawyer (Client-facing)

Our Group is expanding, and we’re looking for a Senior Commercial Legal Positions based in Bogotá, Colombia. All positions will be client facing and require fluent English, great interpersonal skills and a high level of proactivity.

The responsibilities will have extensive client engagement, and be focused on the client life-cycle from business development, through to client on-boarding and on-going account management.

This position will work closely with our local delivery teams across our various Latin American offices to ensure timely and accurate information is provided to our clients and any concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

Successful candidates should be able to contribute to building relationships, implementing new programs that will increase your business’ revenue potentials and ensure client success.

Requirements Essential:

• Fluent English (minimum C1 Level)
• Law degree within Latin America (or equivalent business experience)
• Corporate Law experience (minimum 4 years)
• Extensive client facing experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to understand and solve complex problems using structure and logic, and then able to present the solution in a clear way, both verbally and in writing.
• Exceptional work-ethic
• Very Confident, outgoing and able to build relationships (and make sales)
• Stable professional work history

Desirable:

• Similar or comparable experience
• Portuguese language skills
• Accounting and/or Tax qualifications (or similar experience)
• Experience working with a formal CRM software
• Work and/or living experience in multiple Latin American countries
• Experienced with building and managing small teams
