We are looking for a Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join our dynamic client´s team dedicated to transforming lives, by improving access to quality eye care. This role will provide technical
support in monitoring, evaluation, and learning to ensure high-quality program implementation across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist country teams in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems.
  • Develop data collection and monitoring tools to improve project performance tracking.
  • Provide training and technical support to country offices on data quality assessments, reporting, and evaluation methods.
  • Support project teams in analyzing quarterly and annual data, ensuring compliance with M&E frameworks.
  • Contribute to proposal development, particularly in crafting Theories of Change (TOC) and logical frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment and implementation of MEL tools across all country programs.
  • Participate in research initiatives and ensure adherence to evaluation standards.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in M&E, preferably within an international NGO setting. Experience in public health and healthcare systems is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, data visualization, and M&E system development. Experience with Excel, SPSS, STATA, or similar software is a plus!
  • Regional Expertise: Prior experience working in Latin America, with strong knowledge of the local context.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
