Senior Accountant
About Us:
Our group continues to grow every day. Due to this ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Lima, Peru. This position will play a key role in ensuring compliance with tax and labor obligations, as well as overseeing accuracy and timeliness in payroll processes.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the accounting team
- Declaration and analysis of taxes, including PDT 621, PDT 617, IGV for Non-Residents, PDT 633, PLAME, and invoicing.
- Preparation and registration of payroll, including AFP, SCTR, EsSalud affiliations, and management of employee registration and deregistration in the T-Registro.
- Treasury management, covering payments and collections.
- Recording purchases and sales, account analysis, and preparing Financial Statements (FS) for companies under MYPE and General regimes.
- Collaboration and assistance with clients when assigned.
- General support in the accounting area.
- Proficient use of accounting and payroll tools, such as Nubefact and Nubecont.
- Collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and meet company and client expectations.
- Maintenance, updating, and daily control of all documents, entries, and accounting books.
- Preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Execution of administrative tasks and other assigned functions as needed.
Mandatory Requirements:
1. Experience:
- Degree in Accounting (additional certifications are an advantage).
- 5 years of experience in a similar role.
2. Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with general accounting principles (IFRS).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
3. Skills and Competencies:
