Accountant

Our team continues to grow every day! Due to this ongoing expansion, we are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Puerto Rico. This role is essential to ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, manage payroll, taxes, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR), and provide continuous support to our finance team and clients.

Responsibilities:

• General Accounting: Manage the full accounting cycle, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial records.
• Payroll & Taxes: Oversee and execute payroll processes, tax compliance, and other fiscal obligations in Puerto Rico.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax and labor regulations, including filing tax returns and meeting other legal requirements.
• Advisory & Support: Provide support to the finance team and respond to inquiries from internal and external clients regarding accounting and tax matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient to advanced level of English.
• Strong experience in payroll and tax compliance.
• Up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in Puerto Rico.
• Experience with accounting software and financial management tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
